Q: What kinds of items do you buy?
A: We accept old or second-hand furniture (beds, cots, chairs, tables, cabinets, wardrobes, etc.), home appliances (fans, refrigerators, washing machines, TVs, mixers, etc.), electronics, scrap items (metal/wood), and other household items that are no longer needed.

Q: Does the item have to be in perfect condition?
A: Not at all. We buy items “as-is.” Whether lightly used or showing signs of wear, you’re welcome to send photos or describe the condition — we’ll evaluate fairly.

Q: How do I get an offer?
A: Simply send us clear photos (full item + close-ups if possible) or list out the items with a brief description (type, approximate age, condition). We’ll review and respond with an offer.

Q: What if I accept the offer — how does collection/payment work?
A: Once you accept our offer, we can arrange to pick up the items from your home (in and around Adyar/Chennai) or you can deliver them to us if convenient. Payment is made promptly once items are collected or delivered.

Q: Do you accept scrap or damaged items?
A: Yes — we also buy scrap metal/wood or items that are broken or damaged, as long as they have some salvage or resale/recycle value.

Q: Is there any paperwork required?
A: We keep the process simple — no heavy paperwork required for ordinary household items. For high-value items, we may request basic ID/address verification to comply with local regulations.

Q: What if I change my mind after agreeing?
A: If you inform us before pick-up or collection, we can cancel the transaction. Once items are collected and payment issued, cancellation may not be possible.

Q: What areas do you serve?
A: We are based in Adyar, Chennai, and cover nearby residential areas in Chennai for pick-up/delivery. If you’re outside our usual area, please contact us — we may still arrange service depending on distance.

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the sale of items to Adyar Old Furniture Buyers. By agreeing to sell items to us, you (“Seller”) agree to the following:

1. Acceptance of Offer

• The sale is finalized only when you accept our offer after our evaluation, and we confirm pick-up or collection date.

• We reserve the right to refuse any items for any reason (e.g. items that are hazardous, illicit, or not acceptable under local laws/regulations).

2. Condition & Evaluation of Items

• Items are accepted “as-is.” Our offer is based on the condition, usability, material, age, and salvage/recycle value.

• The Seller must provide accurate and complete information about each item — including photographs and condition information. Any misrepresentation may lead to refusal, re-evaluation, or adjustment of price.

3. Collection / Delivery & Payment

• On agreeing, we schedule pickup from your address (or you deliver the items, if mutually agreed).

• Payment will be made immediately after collection/delivery and inspection, or as per agreed terms.

4. Seller Responsibility & Ownership

• The Seller confirms ownership of the items sold and warrants that items are free from any legal claims, encumbrances, or third-party rights.

• The Seller transfers full ownership and all associated rights of the items to Adyar Old Furniture Buyers upon sale.

5. Limitation of Liability

• Once items are collected and payment made, Adyar Old Furniture Buyers shall have no liability for items’ future use, resale, recycling, or disposal.

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from this transaction.
